Walking distance from Bella Center (under 10 minutes on foot)
AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky Copenhagen is the closest major hotel, sitting directly next to the Bella Center. Its twin towers are a Copenhagen landmark. This is the most convenient option if you want to roll out of bed and into the conference, and it's where many speakers and VIP attendees stay. Book early because it sells out fast during major Bella Center events.
Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers is a short walk from the venue and directly connected to the Orestad metro and train station. It's a solid business hotel with a 24-hour business centre and 21 meeting rooms, useful if you're scheduling side meetings during TechBBQ.
Ibis Styles Copenhagen Orestad is about a 10-minute walk from the Bella Center and offers a more budget-friendly option without sacrificing location. Clean, modern, and functional.
One or two metro stops away (Orestad district)

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Copenhagen Arena opened in 2024 and sits near the Royal Arena, a short metro ride from Bella Center. Modern rooms, good WiFi, and close to Fields, Denmark's largest shopping mall.
Copenhagen city centre (15-20 minutes by metro)
If you'd rather stay in the heart of Copenhagen and enjoy the city outside conference hours, the metro M1 line runs directly from central Copenhagen to Bella Center station. Hotels in Vesterbro, the Central Station area, or Islands Brygge put you within 15-20 minutes of the venue while placing you near Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn, and Copenhagen's restaurant scene.
This option works well if you're extending your stay beyond TechBBQ or traveling with a partner who isn't attending the conference.
Getting to Bella Center
From Copenhagen Airport (CPH): The venue is 8-15 minutes away. Take the metro M1 line directly to Bella Center station, or a taxi/Uber for approximately 150-200 DKK (around €20-27).
Metro: M1 line to Bella Center station. The station is right at the venue entrance. Trains run every 3-4 minutes during peak hours.
Bus: Line 30 connects Copenhagen Central Station to the Bella Center area.
By car: Take the E20 motorway, exit 19 "Orestad." 24-hour paid parking is available at the venue.
